HSC Home Care Rehabilitative Therapies
Every client receives a comprehensive assessment to assist in developing individualized treatment plans that will facilitate the child reaching their maximum milestone. Our treatment plans are goal oriented and outcomes based. We partner with the family and caregivers to provide education and involvement, which are critical components that support continuity of care for the child and promotes goal oriented progression. The HSC Home Care “Activities Coach” Program fosters a fun family and caregiver involvement as well as creative and therapeutic interventions.
Physical Therapy
Our Physical Therapists follow treatment plans built on a professional and objective analysis of a child’s movement abilities. Our plans are action packed, fun, therapeutic interventions that are goal and outcome driven. With HSC Home Care, physical therapy is used to foster a challenging program that promotes independent mobility and other functional motor skills.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy facilitates the achievement of childhood occupations including self-care, play, school, and vocation. By helping to develop specific skills through treatment activities and finding creative alternatives that help children make the most of their abilities, our occupational therapists help clients with special needs live their lives to the fullest.
The HSC Home Care, LLC occupational therapists provide skilled therapeutic interventions, ongoing goal evaluation that enhances the client’s skills necessary to increase independence in life’s day-to-day activities.
Speech-Language Therapy
Speech-language therapy helps to determine what communication, oral-motor, or swallowing problems exist and the best way to treat them. The primary purpose of speech-language therapy is to help individuals overcome and prevent communication and swallowing problems. Our speech-language therapists are dedicated to the treatment of speech, language, cognitive, feeding, and swallowing disorders for children of all ages (birth-21).
